PROGRAMME

• There are two different activities scheduled for each Thursday
• Students must sign in the activity of their preference during the first day of the course
• Transport to each activity and entry ticket are included in the course fee

THURSDAY, 7 JULY

1. Visit to the MARQ (Alicante Museum of Archaeology)
   • Schedule: from 18h to 22h
   • Bus to the museum will depart from the university campus (bus park by Aulario I)
2. The second option consists of a documentary and an exhibition:
   • Screening of the documentary "Neruda, paralelo 38º Sur", directed by María Martín, who will present her work and will moderate the subsequent debate
     • Schedule: from 18h to 20h
     • Screening will take place in the "Salón de Actos" of the Germán Bernácer Building
   • Visit to the exhibition commemorating the 400th anniversary of Don Quixote's publication
     • In theMUA (Museum of the University of Alicante)
     • Schedule: from 20h to 22h

THURSDAY, 14 JULY

1. Field trip with guided visit to the castles in the river Vinalopó valley (Sax, Petrer and Elda). Official reception offered by local councils of the Vinalopó Valley
• Schedule: from 16.30h to 21.30h
2. The second option consists of a documentary and an exhibition:
• Screening of "Nanook of the North" (D. Robert J. Flaherty, 1922), the first documentary of cinema history:
• Schedule: from 18h to 20h
• Screening will take place in the "Salón de Actos" of the Germán Bernácer Building
• Visit to the exhibition commemorating the 400th anniversary of Don Quixote's publication

THURSDAY, 21 JULY

   • Screening of "Gods and Monsters " (D. Bill Condon, 1998). Hollywood history comes to life in this tale of the last days of Frankenstein director James Whale

   • Visit to the exhibition commemorating the 400th anniversary of Don Quixote's publication
